What is Biodazole? Albendazole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic. It is an FDA-approved medication for treating a variety of parasitic worm infections. Albendazole is one of two benzimidazoles currently on the World Health Organization (WHO) Model List of Essential Medicines as an anthelmintic against intestinal Soil-transmitted helminths (STHs).

Indications: - Treatment of parenchymal neurocysticercosis due to active lesions caused by larval forms of the pork tapeworm, Tania solium. - Treatment of cystic hydatid disease of the liver, lung, and peritoneum, caused by the larval form of the dog tapeworm, Echinococcus granulosus
