What is Finastiv?
FINASTIV is supplied in blister packs of 30 and 100 film coated tablets.
FINASTIV is available as a light blue, round, biconvex, film coated tablet. Each film coated tablet contains 5 mg of finasteride. The tablet contains lactose monohydrate derived from bovine milk.

Indications
FINASTIV is used in the treatment of benign enlargement of the prostate gland (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH). This disease occurs only in men. FINASTIV shrinks prostate gland in men when it is swollen. Your prostate gland is found underneath your urinary bladder. It produces the liquid found in semen. A swollen prostate gland can lead to a condition called "benign prostatic hyperplasia".
